Southern Africa: Spent just over three weeks visiting Johannesburg and Kruger N.P. in S.Africa, Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, Chobe NP in Botswana, Etosha NP and AfriCat in Namibia, and Dubai.

Visited England: London, York, Whitby, Alnwick, Lindisfarne, Bamburgh, Masham, and Rugby.
Visited the UK: London, Ironbridge, Portmierion and Caerphilly in Wales, and then several towns in SW England as well as Stonehenge and Avebury Circle.
Visited Turkey: Istanbul, Cappadocia, and Ephesus. Went hot-air ballooning and climbed down into an underground city.

Cambodia: Visited Siem Reap and Phnom Penh. Went to several temples, a landmine museum, out on a lake, and to both an elephant and an Asian bear rescue centers.

Ecuador & Galapagos, June 2004:
Flew into Quito and visited a village exactly on the equator. Then an overnight in a jungle lodge and back to Quito, then on to Cuenca. To Guayaquil for a couple of days before heading to Galapagos. We were on a small 16 passenger boat that was both power and sail. An amazing expeerience! Back to Guayaquil and finally home.
